In 2025, Jira Agency was successful in securing grant funding through Arts Queensland to undertake a textile pilot project with Hopevale Art Centre and Indian Artisans at Tharangini Studio, India.

The project aims to connect First Nations artists with Indian textile masters in developing ethical offshore partnerships in textile and fashion production.

​

The project will deliver bespoke textile cuts and a capsule collection of prototype garment designs.
